Jasper City Schools will be open on Monday, Feb. 12th. Currently, we have seen a low number of absences due to the influenza virus. We will continue to monitor and take necessary precautions to maintain a healthy environment throughout our schools.

Schools will be CLOSED ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, January 16-17, based on EMA weather briefing. We will have a DELAYED OPENING ON THURSDAY, January 18, at 10:00 a.m. Doors will open at 9:15 a.m. for car riders. Buses will begin their routes Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. We will notify you of any changes to this plan via Facebook, SchoolCast, and district website. Stay safe and warm!

Congratulations to the Jasper Varsity Volleyball team for being state runner-up. They played for the title against Pelham on November 2. Congratulations girls!
Mr. Ray Clark, the Jasper City Schools' Facilities Manager, was recognized with the Impact Performance Award by Schneider Electric for his outstanding work. Mr. Clark assists all the schools in energy conservation and facilities maintenance.

The Walker High School senior class of 2017 opened the graduation ceremony by honoring Walker Assistant Principal Mr. Tommy Hobson. Each student carried a carnation which they laid on the remeberance table before the ceremony began.
