Parents of JCS Students: Please complete the attached application by July 15th IF your child will be a JCS Remote Learner during the 2020-2021 school year.

The Alabama State Department of Education has released the Parent's Guide and the Roadmap to Reopening Schools. Dr. Eric Mackey, Alabama's State Superintendent of Education, addressed the state and released the Roadmap today (June 26, 2020). Dr. Ann Jackson will keep the stakeholders of the Jasper City Schools System abreast of the system's plans for reopening in the coming days.
Ms. Byrd was selected the AL State Board of Education District 7 Elementary Teacher of the Year and finalist for the 2020-2021 AL Teacher of the Year!
The 2020 Alabama Summer Learning Challenge is being held May 18 until July 31. There are “tons” of FREE learning resources for students to use.
